MSP supports campaign for St Andrews station

The SNP member for North East Fife expressed concern that running Edinburgh-Perth trains via Kinross and Glenfarg could result in a poorer service for North East Fife stations and suggested that it would be better to back campaigns for rail links to places currently without them, such as Newburgh and St Andrews, rather than a new way of linking Edinburgh and Perth.
It is hoped that Mr Campbell will be willing to have a quiet word in the appropriate Ministerial ears to help advance the Starlink campaign, especially as we are still awaiting responses from Fife Council and TayPlan.
