There's always one!

Very long letter in St Andrews Citizen from Sandy McNaughton, an Edinburgh-domiciled St Andrean, apparently objecting to the ‘free publicity’ obtained by the Starlink campaign, describing at length the run-down of the original line and its closure, and then suggesting that a new line would be very expensive and could mean an interest in ‘rates for the ratepayers of St Andrews’. He concludes that the project is not economic, and that instead the signs at Leuchars Station should be changed to ‘St Andrews - alight here for RAF Leuchars’. Read More...

The appeal for the feasibility study has been further boosted by a pledge of £500 from the Royal Burgh of St Andrews Community Council.
