Preservation Trust calls for 'light railway'

Trust’s Planning Convener, David Middleton, said, ‘A
light railway would help to connect Leuchars and St
Andrews in a way which would benefit both. Government
cash is available for demonstration green transport
initiatives.’
These sentiments from the St Andrews Preservation Trust are most welcome. Let us hope that the Scottish Government heed them.
