The Courier article reporting Fife Council’s Chief Executive Officer’s remarks is at:

The question has to be asked, why is Fife Council dragging its feet over progressing the St Andrews railway campaign? It clearly ticks all these boxes.
The StARLink campaign wholeheartedly supports the Forth Link proposals. In fact, with the Tata report suggesting a route from St Andrews to Edinburgh via Dunfermline, closing the gap between there and Alloa opens the way to en east-west rail service from St Andrews via Stirling all the way to Glasgow.
