Although progress has been slower than anticipated, support has grown as the case for reconnecting Scotland’s oldest university town and the Home of Golf has strengthened. From looking at a simple shuttle on the old Victorian alignment, the aim has moved on to a new and faster route more suited to the needs of the 21st century enabling direct travel from St Andrews to Dundee and, for the first time, Edinburgh.
It is hoped that there will soon be developments in achieving the necessary STAG evaluation. In the meantime, thank you for all your support over the years.
