Starlink convenor Jane Ann Liston noted that the Community Council had raised the question of the increasing traffic congestion in St Andrews. She also took the opportunity to point out that any loss of car-parking spaces at the station site would be much less than some had claimed, and that electrification, mooted for the Edinburgh-Dundee line, would remove any threat of increased diesel pollution.
