Herald recognises St Andrews-Glasgow potential
Thursday, 31 March 2016
The Herald article recognises the potential of
a St Andrews line such as suggested by the StARLink
campaign not only to link Dundee and Edinburgh to the
town with direct services but also, in combination
with the Forth Rail Link, to facilitate east-west
services straight through to Glasgow via Dunfermline,
Alloa and Stirling, concluding:
‘If any link has the potential to replicate the Borders Railway’s success, surely it is worth considering.’
