In today’s Scotsman, the leading story by Alastair Dalton, in the wake of the £2M secured by the Greens in the Scottish Budget, centres on the list of proposed 17 ‘pop-up’ stations. This includes in Fife Halbeath, Newburgh and Wormit. However the report also lists 5 lines which should be re-opened: Dyce-Ellon, Alloa-Dunfermline, Larkhall-Stonehouse & Strathaven, as well as branches to Levenmouth and St Andrews.
