Courier - Historian declares re-opening St Andrews 'viable'

In The Courier, historian David Ross, author of Getting the Train: the History of Scotland’s Railways, says of re-openings,
‘I think the lines making the strongest case at the moment are the line to St Andrews and the line from Thornton junction to Methil and Leven in Fife,’ and ‘For different reasons these are both viable schemes,’ adding, ‘The St Andrews line should never have been closed.’
